Shout out to America for being the greatest country. Sure do
love it.
Well, this week was super busy!! With getting tons of new
missionaries into the zone we have been pretty much spending every night just
calling people to get to know them and welcome them to Tainan. Also we met with
the Stake President this week so we had to ask the missionaries lots of
questions for that! We have been super busy this week, but being busy is the
best!
It has also been super super hot and humid. It feels good.
Reminds me how much I love this country.
This week we did a lot of contacting and we met this guy
name Mr Wang. He is super cool and hopefully very golden! He was really
interested in church and he came to sacrament meeting yesterday! The ward
members did a super good job at welcoming him to church and he said he is going
to come every week! We are meeting with him this week and hopefully we can drop
in a baptismal goal!
We have been making a huge push to work with the members.
Honestly the biggest regret of my mission is that I didn't start working with
members earlier. Elder Grisenti and I just could never think of any ideas but I
feel the ideas are starting to flow! The stake president talked to us about
that as well and we are super excited to see the results. It's definitely the
slowest way to see baptisms, but it is the most secure way. I have already
grown a greater love for the ward and doing the work just feels different now!
I love it!
We have zone conference this week and I have to give my
reflection. Which is just a testimony about your mission. Hopefully it goes
well and makes Elder Jones cry haha.
Lastly, I was reading in my scriptures last night and I read
in Jacob. I was thinking about how back in the old days the Lord would destroy
those that didn't repent and I thought about how that doesn't happen now
(probably because the whole world would be destroyed) but as I talked about it
with Elder Storey we decided that maybe it is a personal destruction. That when
you don't repent, your spirit is slowly getting destroyed. Kind of morbid but
it's true. Daily repentance is so important! Also helping others repent is very
very important! Share the gospel with people!!! wooo!!!!!
Love
